Why I built it
I wrote the ChatGPT one first, then hit exactly the same wall on Claude during long working sessions. The symptom is identical — memory climbing until the tab stutters — but the DOM structure is different enough that the original extension could not simply be pointed at it.
How it works
It hooks into Claude's conversation container and takes older turns out of the render tree as the thread grows, so memory stays roughly flat instead of climbing with every exchange. The messages stay in your history; only the rendering is trimmed.
