Build a Chrome Extension with HTML and JavaScript

Hello everyone,

In this video I tried to explain, at a basic level, how to build an extension for Google Chrome.

We only used HTML, CSS and JavaScript along the way — so even a basic knowledge of those is enough to build an extension.

We started with a popup example, then built an Instagram auto-like tool using content_scripts.

You can find both examples on GitHub; download them and poke around however you like.

I leaned on the Chrome documentation while building this, and I would recommend reading it there for the full details on extensions.
